This campaign aims to enhance regulation and transparency within Liberia’s real estate sector, and thus, it is being carried out across several counties, including Maryland, Grand Gedeh, Nimba, Margibi, Lofa, Bong, Grand Cape Mount, and Grand Bassa.
Both institutions are engaging stakeholders from both public and private sectors to actively participate in discussions that promote compliance, accountability, and vigilance in Liberia's real estate sector.
The awareness activities, which have received widespread praise from local authorities and the public across the selected counties, demonstrate the national government's commitment to protecting the integrity of the country’s property market and preventing its exploitation for illicit financial activities.
However, as the campaign progresses into other counties, the team is also using local community radio stations to encourage the public to support government efforts by reporting suspicious activities and ensuring everyone follows established regulations.
