On the special occasion of Liberia's 178th Independence Day Celebration on July 26, 2025, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Hon. Samuel F. Kpakio, along with other Commissioners and Staff of the LLA, extend congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency, Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Liberia; the Vice President, His Excellency, Jeremiah Kpan Koung; the Honorable Speaker and members of the 55th National Legislature; the President Pro-Temporary and members of the Liberian Senate; the Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the Supreme Court, and other members of the Judiciary; the Dean and members of the Cabinet; the Chairpersons and members of the Board of Directors of State-Owned Enterprises; Donors and Development Partners, as well as Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the land sector; and the peace-loving people of Liberia.
We thank you for your cooperation and continued support to the LLA as we work together to implement the Land Rights Act of 2018 and its related regulation of 2022, for the economic growth and development of our beloved country, particularly for land-owning customary communities in rural Liberia.
